Piazza Principe

Genova, Italy

Status: Concept

My Role: Designer in conjunction with Frank Alonso and Cynthia Garcia. 

There are several important transportation nodes for tourists at the Piazza Principe in Genoa. The Piazza Principe is one of the main train stations with a connection to the metro, and the Stazione Marittima across the street is the port for cruise liners. Our design connects these various points of transport along the hillside of Genova. We repurpose a historical silo next to the Stazione Marittima to create a hotel out of the permanent scaffolding on the building.
